Kuala Lumpur An Alpha Global City And Capital Of Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur or often abbreviated KL is the biggest city in Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur including the fellowship area region has an area 244 km sq. It is a metropolitan city with the most rapid population growth in Malaysia, not only the population of people but also in economics. Kuala Lumpur is the official residence Yang di Pertuan Agong or rather palace.

This city is also the culture center and economic center of Malaysian people because this is the major city. Globalization and World Cities Study Group and Network (GaWC) assessing Kuala Lumpur is an alpha global city. Since the 1990s the city was host of the several sports event, political and international culture. The twin towers that are the highest in the world, is called PETRONAS twin towers.

There are two airports in the city, Bandar udara internasional in Sepang and bandar udara Sultan Abdul Aziz shah in subang. There is also a large valley that is known as Klang valley boundary by mountains. The city located at the estuary between Klang River and Gombak. Malay is the national language and mostly talks.

The other language that sometimes used is Kenton, mandarin, Tamil and English. Most people wither embraced Islam; and some are Hindu, Buddha, Confucianism, Taoism and Christianity.

The tourism sector also plays an important role in the economy of the city. In addition to this sector cab expand business and opportunities, and it’s also becoming into an international shopping destination. Conference tourism is also growing in recent years. There are several important tourism destinations, such as field independence, Malaysia parliament, culture palace, country palace, Kuala Lumpur tower, museum countries, trade center, tugu state. Some mosques which are popular include Jameek mosque, country mosque, and fellowship area mosque.

Other tourism destinations are aquaria KLCC, caves stone, saint country center, petaling road, and royal Selangor etc. One of the famous cultural places is state museum which located in Lebugraya mahameru it have various collections of artifacts and painting from all over Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur also has a world class sports complex, one of which was the venue for commonwealth games 1998, the national sports complex in the Jalil hills. Not only have that, Malaysia also had football field, swimming pool, and tennis court, and some golf course. This city was chosen to be one of the city venues for the formula one race.
